Super Saturday

We’re big fans of live and local music here at Goat, so when we were presented with the opportunity to be a part of no less than FOUR events this Saturday 11th November, naturally we couldn’t pick just one.

So we chose them all!

We are very proud and excited to be a part of The Peel Street Festival in Collingwood, Copresents Festival in Melbourne CBD, River Rocks 2017 at the Barwon Club Hotel in South Geelong and the Jazz Party Album launch at The Croxton Bandroom in Thornbury.

We understand that sadly you can’t be everywhere at once so we’re giving you the lowdown to help you decide which of these great events is the one for you.

Peel Street Festival

Community spirit is alive and well in Collingwood!

The locals are taking over Peel Street for this vibrant celebration of all the things that make their backyard great. Expect to see local bands, street food, community stalls, a record fair, a kids’ park and much, much more.

Goat beers will be available all day from Grace Darling Hotel and Lazerpig.

This free and family friendly event kicks off at midday, switching to over 18s only after 8pm.

Best of all, it’s free!

Melbourne is a hotbed of creativity and Copresents Festival wants everyone to know.

RMIT City Campus are playing host to this inaugural showcase of music and arts, with live music, live art, food trucks and, of course, Goat beers all afternoon.

Held across two stages, this event is bringing together some of the most exciting artists in the country to raise money for HoMie, an incredible organisation whose mission is to provide pathways out of homelessness.

Tickets are still available and $5 from every sale goes directly to HoMie.

River Rocks 2017

It’s the tenth year of this festival and in the words of the organisers, “has gone from a drunken dream around a fire to a sell out event worthy of your best mates birthday”.

Tickets sold out almost instantly and when you see the line up you’ll understand why.

This event is a celebration of two mates who wanted to bring some of their favourite bands to Geelong and did it – good people doing great things!

If you were one of the lucky people who managed to get their hands on a ticket, make sure not to miss Brewer Westy’s band, The Ruiner.

Jazz Party Album Launch

Not long ago, we were sent a link to their song called ‘Mountain Goat’ by a band called Jazz Party.

It’s essentially an ode to Summer Ale and quickly became our new favourite song.

Following on from an incredible set at Golden Plains earlier this year, the Jazz Party crew are now launching their debut album, ‘Monday Night’, at The Croxton Bandroom, who will be running a special offer on our Pale Ale on the night.

Tickets are on sale now!
