Barrel Breed: Barley Wine 2016

Following 2015's AIBA winning recipe, our second Barrel Breed Barley Wine is sweet and full with a smooth, warm finish.

We’ve been playing around with oak barrels for a while now and after our 2015 release did rather well at the Australian International Beer Awards, we thought we’d give it another crack. We are fascinated with the influence oak can have on beer, or wine and whisky too. So, after smuggling some more of the sublime Lark whisky barrels over from Tasmania in late 2015, it was time to again send another Barley Wine into oak, and wait...
