We’re enchanted by what the simple storage of beer in oak can do for a beer and we decided it was time to try it for ourselves. After smuggling some barrels over from Lark Distillery in Tasmania, we filled them full of the biggest beer we’ve ever brewed. We sealed the barrels, put them away and waited. Three months later, our patience was rewarded and our first Barrel Breed was ready.
