For our third Barrel Breed Christmas Ale we decided to brew one of our favourite styles of beer: an IPA.
Using the same recipe as our AIBA Gold Medal winning triple IPA, this beer was then aged for three months in fresh American whisky barrels.
The result is a beer with a complex palate, mildly sweet with toffee and vanilla notes and a cleansing bitterness from the aggressive hopping regime.
This beer is best served fresh so drink this Christmas with friends, family and other worthy companions.
