It’s a robust, malt-driven ale combining four Australian and imported malts plus some flaked barley for good measure. English Goldings hops are for bittering to balance out the malt sweetness.
Goat Brewer Dave sums the stuff up well. “thick, rich, soft burnt-malt flavours with a chocolate/licorice nose and burst of coffee in the back palate…don’t be afraid to drink it warm (8c is good).”
It’s the ideal winter warmer!
