India Pale Ale
Mountain Goat’s India Pale Ale is true to style, we’ve added as much hops as we dare and the alcohol content comes in at 5%. But it has a little something else we love about it – it’s Australia’s first 100% certified organic beer. This means that all the ingredients (malt, hops, water and yeast) are organic and our process has been certified by the Biological Farmer’s Association.
We use organically grown and malted German pilsener and light munich malts to give a golden, full bodied feel and then hop it with New Zealand Pacific Gem hops.
It all leads to a full-bodied, well-hopped brew in a style almost lost to the ages. It’s Mountain Goat’s fourth beer release and we’re brewing it as a seasonal beer just through the warmer months.

I’ve been everywhere trying to buy the cert organic India Pale Ale and can’t find an outlet whose even heard of it (let alone stocks it). I am in Far Northern NSW…I’ll drive anywhere between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay to find it…I just need to know where? Any ideas? Cheers, Scott.
