Our Brewers love IPAs and the hoppier they are, the better.

They’re always pushing for more and more hop flavour and with our latest Rare Breed they’ve taken it to the next level.

The combination of Chinook, Amarillo and Citra already delivers big hop flavours, but we’ve gone one step further and added some Calypso into the mix as well, a hop variety we’ve never used in a brew before. The brewers also used a yeast strain that is new to us, California Ale Yeast.

This brew started out as a bit of an experiment but after more than two months of trialling and tweaking the recipe, we finally had our beer.

Attack of the Killer Hops is an IPA that lives up to its name. An intense hop aroma full of citrus, pear and tropical fruit notes paves the way for a flavour that bursts with fruity hop character and resonating bitterness throughout.

This truly is a ripper of a beer.
